Carmel College Modankap observes Annual Day

Bantwal: Fr Maxim L Noronha parish priest, Infant Jesus Church Bantwal inaugurated the Annual Day celebration of Carmel College Modankap under the title 'Skills & Thrills’.

Joint secretary of the college Sr Maria Naveena AC presided over the function.

Principal Prof Sr M Supriya AC, vice principal Sr Clera Rodrigues AC, Student Council president Faseeha Khatheeja, secretary Vipin Crasta, joint secretary Erica Cathline Veigas were present. The student council organized 15 competitions, offering an opportunity for all the students to showcase their talents.

At the valedictory programme held in the afternoon, Josephine D’Souza, former president Bantwal town municipality was the chief guest. PTA vice president Jacintha D’Cunha, parents and alumni of the college were present. Achievers of the competitions, academics, sports and other extra curricular activities were awarded with certificates.

The best outgoing student of the year Caral Celine Vaz was felicitated by the chief guest.

The day ended with a colourful cultural programme.
