Catholic Credit Society, Brahmavar holds AGM

Udupi: The 22nd annual general body meeting of the Catholic Credit Co-operative Society Ltd, Brahmavar was held at Mother Palace Auditorium at Brahmavar. President of the society Valerian Menezes presided over the function. All the eleven directors and 350 members of the society were present.

The members in the meeting discussed various aspects of the audited report for the year ending March 31, 2018. The society had transacted Rs 74.46 crore of business during the year. At the year end it had 0.76% overdue loans as compared to a total outstanding loan of Rs 12.25 crore. The society has been classified in Grade A for its performance during the year. A dividend of 12% has been declared for the shareholders.

As many as 14 students, the children of members, who passed 2018 SSLC/CBSE and PUC public examinations with distinction, i.e. obtaining marks above 85 percent, were felicitated and awarded financial help.
