Catholic Sabha Surathkal deanery organises Nurses’ Day

Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha Surathkal deanery organised Nurses’ Day at Katipalla Church hall. As many as 30 nurses of five parishes belonging to Surathkal deanery were felicitated during this occasion.

Chief guest of the day, Dr Norman Mendonca, Ophthalmic surgeon at Father Muller's Hospital Kankanady, addressed the nurses and spoke about the divinity of this career.

Fr Paul Pinto, Vicar Var of Surathkal deanery, Anil Lobo, chairman, MCC Bank, Rolphy D’Costa, president, Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh, Vivid D’Souza, treasurer, Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh and Cocess Fernandes, vice-president of parish pastoral council, Katipalla, graced the occasion.

Deanery president Harry D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Saviya Rodrigues compered the programme. Deanery secretary Russel Roche delivered the vote of thanks.
