Certificate Course in Communicative English inaugurated at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Department of Computer Science and Department of English of St Philomena College Puttur jointly organized inaugural function of Certificate Course in Communicative English on September 13, 2016 in Spandana Seminar Hall.

 

The Dean of Arts Prof. Ganapathy S in his inaugural address said, ‘Effective communication is an art, as well as a science. English has remained the language of the world. To become global citizen, we need global language.’

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha in his presidential address said, ‘Language is a very important vehicle or channel of communication.’

The Head of the Department of Computer Science Mr. Vinayachandra and the Head of the Department of English Mrs. Bharathi S Rai coordinated the programme.

Ms. Kavya and team with a prayer song invoked God to shower his choicest blessings. Ms. Nagma Banu B A welcomed the gathering. Ms. Sangeetha proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Fathimath Nishana compered the programme.
