Mangaluru: Former vice-chancellor of Hampi University and visiting professor of Vozberg University, Germany Prof BA Vivek Rai released ‘Ivan Dsouza-Marching towards Dream Realisation’, a book compiled by Ivan D’Souza, chief whip of Legislative Assembly of Karnataka, depicting his achievements and vision at Jeppu St Antony Ashram on Thursday September 1. The program was inaugurated by Bishop of Mangaluru diocese Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza.

Speaking on the occasion, Bishop said, “Ivan has helped many needy and downtrodden in his journey of two years as a MLC. Politicians need to showcase their good work to public. In his first year as MLC, he had released his book at Infant Mary Ashram while this year it’s the St Antony Ashram.”

Speaking to the gathering, Ivan D'Souza said, “Every legislator is accountable to people and to make people aware of my work, I have compiled this book. Among all developmental projects, the 3.10 crore rupees from chief minister’s special medical fund that enabled me to help many in the state has given me an immense pleasure. And If I have reached this position, it may be because of that.”

‘Ivan D’Souza-Marching towards Dream Realisation' is a 60 page book which includes the details of the various activities and projects Ivan D'Souza took up in the second year as a member of legislative council along with his vision for good governance.
