Christmas Celebrations 2019 at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail

Christmas is a season of great joy. It is a time of experiencing God's great love for us through the gift of His son Jesus Christ.

The Christmas celebration at Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail began with the Christmas Carols lead by the choir group at 7:00 PM .The Holy Mass began at 7:30 PM. Rev Fr. Austin Peter Peres , Parish priest was the main celebrant. Rev. Fr. Gratian Alvares, Residential Priest, Rev. Fr. Gerald Pinto and Rev. Fr. William Pinto concelebrated the mass.

In his Homily Fr. Austin dwelled upon the importance of the virtues of giving, of being humble and of listening.

The church crib was blessed during the mass. A short Christmas programme was held by the youth of the parish that included live crib, dance and housie-housie.

Excitement and Joy of Christmas was seen among all the people at the end of the celebration. The entire celebration was held at the Holy Family School Grounds, Derebail.
