Clash between club teams claims youth’s life

Kasargod: In a tragic incident, one person was dead and two were gravely injured in a group clash between club teams in Bovikanam on Thursday evening. The deceased has beeen identified as Abdul Khadar (19), resident of Povval. Hafiyad (22) and Sattad (22) are the two injured.

An argument broke between the two Club teams, due to which the three youths suffered stab injuries. Abdul succumbed to injuries and died in the hospital, While Hafiyad and Sattad were shifted to Hospital in Mangaluru.

Kasargod SP Thomson Jose and other officials reached the spot immediately on information, Measures were taken to prevent such incidents in future. Investigations are in progress.
