Udupi: Western Institute of Technology in association with JCI, Manipal Hill City, Lions Club Udupi – Indrali and Badagabettu Credit Co-op Society, Udupi presents Clean City Green City Marathon 2016 on Saturday, 15th October, 2016, said Jc. Zone Director JCI Growth and Development.

While addressing with media persons at Udupi, he said that on Saturday at 7am., Green City Marathon 2016 will be flagged off by N. Vishnuvardhana Additional Superintendent of Police Udupi at Jodukatte near Big Bazar to Sri Krishna Petroleum, Indrali.

Pramod Madhwaraj District in charge Minister and Minister of Fisheries, Sports and Youth Empowerment will distribute the prizes for winners. Around 150 participants are expected and T-Shirts will be provided to all. Participation certificates will be also given.

Winners will be receiving cash for the first prize Rs. 10,000, second Rs. 5,000 and third prize Rs. 3,000 will be given. One prize for the oldest participant and one for the youngest participant will be given.

During the concluding programme, Udupi CMC President Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje, Lions former district governor Ln Jayakar Shetty Indrali, Western Institute of Technology President Walter Stephen Mendis, JCI Zonal President JFM Jc. Sandeep Kumar will be present as guests.
