Congress leader injured during MLA Bava’s Padayatra

Mangaluru: In an unfortunate incident, a Congress leader sustained serious injuries and had to be hospitalised after a lorry hit him during the Padayatra "Shaasaka Bavara Nade - Samarasyada Kade’’ on the National Highway at Mukka on Wednesday afternoon.

The injured Congress leader is Keshav Sanil who happens to be the North Block Congress President. MLA Moidin Bava led Padayatra had commenced at Mukka Junction today.

As the Padayatra proceeded near the Mukka Church a lorry heading towards Padubidri from Mangaluru hit Keshav after the driver lost control over the vehicle. Keshav who has sustained head injuries has been admitted to a private hospital in Suratkal.
