Led by A C Vinayaraj, they also burnt tyres and held a protest. They also shouted slogans condemning the raid and against PM Modi.

Vinayaraj said, "BJP came to power in Manipur, Goa and other states by doing horse-trading. Now they are trying to do horse-trading in Gujarat too. Our Congress MLAs in Gujarat were facing threat, which is why they came to Bengaluru for shelter. The Modi-led government is playing politics of revenge by ordering I-T raids on D K Shivakumar who is part of the Congress state government which has given excellence administration over the last four years," he said.

He also condemned the use of CRPF personnel by the I-T department to conduct the raids.
