Convention of Christian Farmers by Catholic Sabha at Moodbidri

THE SITUATION IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PREDICT, IF FARMERS STOP FARMING: PIUS RODRIGUES

Moodbidri, July 31: Pius Rodrigues- member of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board inauguratedthe farmers convention held at Moodbidri Corpus Christi Church Hall on account of Silver jubilee of the Moodbidri ward Catholic Sabha. In the occasion, he expressed- the situation is impossible to predict, if farmers stop farming completely.

Kudi Shrinivas Bhat- National Agronomist, was present as chief guest. Abdul Basheer- Assistant agricultural officer expressed his views.

Lawrence Pinto Alangaru, Santhosh Miranda Gantalkatte, Albert Menezes Hospet, Cyril Seravo Moodbidri, Paul Cordero Nellikar, Victor Cardoza Paaladka, Fedrick Sankthis Sampige, Gabriel Valerian Pinto Saverapura, Ronald Fernandes Siddakatte, Jason Vitalis Lobo Shirtadi, Ignesius Lobo Takode were felicitated for their achievement in the field of farming.

Edward Lobo- Award winning, progressive farmer expressed his views in the occasion.

Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira- Parish Priest of Moodbidri ward, Anil Lobo Fermoy- The President of Catholic Sabha, Loyd Rego Takodo- Secretary of Catholic Sabha were present in the program.

Gerald D’Costa- Convener of the silver jubilee committee welcomed the gathering. Ronald Serravoread the Bible. Manu Hospet compiled the program. Melwyn D’Costa-former president rendered the vote of thanks.
