Country bomb claims life of cow

Bantwal: The cow owned by Radhakrishna Moolya was found with its face severely burnt on Monday evening. The cow later died on Tuesday.

The cow which used to graze in the nearby hills had not returned on Monday evening. When Radhakrishna and his wife rushed to the hills in search of their cow, they found it under a tree with its face severely burnt, due to explosion of country bomb.

The post-mortem of the cow was conducted and some of its parts have been sent for lab tests. There has been a demand for action against those responsible for planting the country bomb.
