Crossland football team wins Inter collegiate tournament

Brahmavar based Crossland college team defeated Alvas college, Moodabidri 1-0 to win the Udupi Zone Mangalore University Inter collegiate football tournament held at Shree Mahaveera college,Moodabidri. The all-important goal was scored by Biki Mochahary through a free kick. Crossland team has qualified to take part in the inter zone tournament to be held at St.Philomenas college, Puttur. Crossland players Biki Mochahary was adjudged the best player and Gladson Devasia,the best goal keeper.

Crossland defeated MPMC, Manipal 4-0, Alvas College of Physical Education 1-0, Dr.B B Hegde college,Kundapura 1-0,PPC,Udupi 3-0 before beating Alvas College,Moodabidri in the finals.Mr.Biju Jacob is the coach of the team.
