Delegation meets Mangaluru University chancellor

Mangaluru: A delegation formed out of private college management associations in Mangaluru University limits met Mangaluru University chancellor, Professor K Byrappa on August 27 and submitted a memorandum regarding the problems faced by them requesting him to solve them.

The chancellor was explained to regarding the delay in sending increase of 60% combined fees, service fees and fees collected from students during post graduate course admissions to the colleges.

The chancellor gave a patient hearing to the problems plaguing the colleges and assured the delegation that the combined fees and service fees will not be increased during the academic year and arrange to
send the fees collected from post graduate students within three months.

Saying that the part played by private colleges in the development of the university is huge, the chancellor requested for full cooperation from college managements.
