Desperate lover stabs girlfriend, hangs himself

Bantwal: A desperate lover stabbed his girl girlfriend and later committed suicide by hanging himself to a tree at Koila in Bantwal on Tuesday. The deceased are Sujith (28) a resident of Kudumani and his girlfriend Divya(23) a resident of Kudunagudde.

Sujith and Divya were in love, but recently Divya started ignoring and avoiding Sujith from approaching her. He was desperate and raged over as she ditched him. On Tuesday Sujith had messaged Divya to meet him at cashew plantation. Argument broke between them due to which he stabbed her to death with the sharp weapon, then ending his life hanging himself to a tree.

The families were in search of them as both were missing since morning, they noticed Sujith’s bike parked in the location, to their shock found them lying dead.
