District BJP celebrates victory

Udupi: The Bharatiya Janata Party district unit celebrated the victory in the Assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh on Monday,. The BJP celebrated their party’s victory in front of BJP office at Kadiyali with BJP slogans and burst fire crackers.

Speaking on the occasion, District BJP President Mattar Rathnakar Hegde said, "Under the leadership of Amit Shah and Narendra Modi, BJP once again won the assembly election in Gujarat. This shows that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat state has developed with better roads and overall growth of the state. The people of Gujarat once again have given chance to serve them and has given clear mandate against the Congress party."

He also expressed confidence of BJP doing well in Karnataka assembly elections. He said that BJP will get more than 150 setas in Karnataka under the leadership of Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Yeddyurappa.

Lalaji Mendon former MLA, Yashpal Suvarna, Dinakar Babu, Shreesha Nayak, Geethanjali Suvarna, Kulaidy Suresh Nayak, Katpady Shankar Poojary, Nayana Ganesh, Suprasad Shetty Baikady, Rashmitha Balakrishna, Roshan Shetty and other leaders were present.
