District administration to observe International Yoga Day

Mangaluru: The district administration and Department of AYUSH will observe the day by organising yoga programmes at different locations on June 21, 2016. Yoga classes are being conducted in different parts of the city as a prelude to the International Day of Yoga.

Mass yogasanas would be performed at the Mini-Vidhana Soudha at 7.30 am; at the officers’ club at Hat Hill at 8 a.m. and at indoor stadium, Mangala Stadium at 8.30 a.m.

Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Prathisthana would organise mass yoga classes on the premises of Gopalakrishna temple, Shakthinagar, Sooryanarayana temple at Maroli, Sanghaniketan at Mannagudda and at Mangalajyothi Integrated School, Vamanjoor, between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
