District level competitions ‘Pratibha - 2016’ inaugurated at St Philomena PU College Puttur

Puttur: St Philomena Pre-University College Puttur organized One day District level competitions ‘Pratibha - 2016’ for High School students on September 14, 2016 in college auditorium.

Prof. Vivek Ranjan Bhandary, Campus Director, Vivekananda College of Engineering, Puttur inaugurated and said, ‘The educational institutions play a tremendous role in promoting the competitive strength of the students.’

Prof. Leo Noronha, Principal, St Philomena College Puttur and Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Campus Director and Chairperson for PG Studies, St Philomena College Puttur participated as the guests of honour.

Very Rev. Fr Gerald D’Souza, Secretary, Catholic Board of Education, Mangalore presided over the programme.

‘Pratibha - 2016’ consisted of Clay Modeling, Quiz, Science Model, Folk Dance, Best out of Waste, Pencil Sketch, Product Launching, Seminar Presentation and Collage Making.

Ms. Vinola and team performed the prayer. Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo, Principal welcomed the gathering. Mr. Prashanth Bhat P, Chief Coordinator of ‘Pratibha - 2016’ proposed the vote of thanks. The faculty members Mrs. Usha Yashavanth A and Ms. Viola Pereira compered the programme.
