Doctor from Yenepoya Medical College meets tragic end at Ladakh

Mangaluru: In an unfortunate incident, a doctor who had completed his internship at Yenepoya Medical College, Deralakatte met a tragic end at Ladakh while on an expedition with three of his friends on Monday September 26.

The 24-year-old doctor, Mohammed Irshad hailing from Alappuzha had left on an expedition with three of his friends and had reached Ladakh on Monday September 26 when he died under mysterious circumstances. Irshad has two brothers and a sister.

Irshad loved travelling and had posted pictures on facebook of his trips to Sonamarg, Kashmir, Wagah border, Udaipur and Goa. He had declared on facebook that his commitment to the medical field was absolute and non-negotiable.
