Shivamogga: Dr Arunachalam Kumar, the former Dean, K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangaluru was invited as a chief guest along with A S Kiran Kumar, the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation at the 5th Graduation Day ceremony at the Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences.

In a rare honour to his decades of service to the teaching profession and in motivating youngsters to scientific temper and research, the Mangalorean educationist shared the stage and ceremony with one of India’s top rated scientific talents.
