Dr Ashutosh shines at national masters aquatic championship

Mangaluru: Dr Ashutosh Boloor, consultant ophthamologist at the SDM Eye Hospital, Lalbagh and former National level swimmer has made the city proud by winning 3 medals at the 13th National Masters Aquatic Championship conducted by Swimming Federation of India at Secunderabad on October 24.

Dr Ashutosh won a gold medal in the 4x50 metre mixed relay, a silver in the 50 metre backstroke and a bronze in the 50 metre butterfly stroke. Dr Ashutosh will participate at the World Masters Championship to be held at Budapest in August 2017.

Dr Ashutosh is an active sportsperson as well as president of Mangalore Aquatic Club which has a strong team of 25 competitive swimmers performing brilliantly in both national and international level.
