Dr Ashwini Shetty awarded Best NSS Programme Officer

Mangaluru: Dr Ashwini S Shetty, NSS coordinator of Yenepoya University has been honoured with state level award of ‘Best NSS Programme Officer’ for 2015-16 in recognition of meritorious services rendered in the field of National Service Scheme (NSS).

She received the prestigious award from CM Siddaramaiah during a function held at Banquet Hall, Vidhana Soudha on May 16.

Dr Ashwini S Shetty was the organizing secretary of ‘National Integration Camp for Youth (NICY)’ held at Yenepoya University campus from May 1 to 7, 2017.

The camp was organized jointly with National Service Scheme (NSS), National Youth Project and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of Karnataka.

Dr Ashwini S Shetty serves as assistant professor at the department of Anatomy of Yenepoya University.
