Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese to felicitate Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math

Udupi: Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese will be felicitating Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math after his pura pravesha. This was revealed by Rathna Verma at a meeting organized by District Administration under Vinay Kumar Sorake, Minister for Urban Development and Minister in-charge District at the Paryaya office of the Pejawar Math here on January 3.

Vinay Kumar Sorake said that additional bus service will be started during the Paryaya from Bengaluru to Udupi and a memorandum will be submitted to the Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy in this regard. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be invited to the Paryaya on January 5 after meeting him along with MLA Pramod Madhwaraj.

The historic Paryaya will be celebrated as a State festival and preparations are on for celebrating the Paryaya in great pomp and tradition.
