Dr Krishna Nayak conferred Prestigious National Award

Mumbai: Prof. (Dr.) U S Krishna Nayak, Principal & Dean - A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences and Senior Consultant Orthodontist of our city was conferred the most Prestigious ‘Distinguished Orthodontist Award of the Year 2016’ at the National Level for his ‘Hard Work, Dedication and Excellence in Orthodontics which has made a difference in the speciality of Orthodontic treatment and teaching in the country’. This award was presented to him by the renowned Indian Health Professional Awards Committee at a glittering function held at The Residency Club, Pune recently. Outstanding specialists in various fields of Medicine and Dentistry were felicitated at this glamorous function.

Dr. Krishna Nayak has also been the National President of The Indian Orthodontic Society, Indian Dental Association, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, to name a few. He was the Head of the largest Department of Orthodontics in the country for over 30 years. Recently he was also conferred with the prestigious MFDS RCPS by the ROYAL COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS (GLASGOW).
