Mangaluru: Dr Sathish Kumar Shetty P took charge as the new principal of Besant Women's College from May 1.
Dr Shetty was an associate professor at the department of history, Besant evening college before this.
Former principal Dr Sulochana Narayan handed over the charge to Dr Sathish Kumar Shetty P in the presence of the college correspondent Devananda Pai. Dr Shetty is the first gentleman principal in the 39 years of history of Besant Women’s College.
