Driver killed as Fish laden truck overturns

Kasargod: In a tragic incident, the driver of a fish laden truck died as the truck overturned on Chandragiri bridge in Kasargod on Saturday. The deceased is identified as Nasser (36) from Alappuzha . Harris (35) escape with minor injuries.

The Fish laden truck was plying from Goa to Alappuza as the driver tried to avoid collision with the auto rickshaw, he lost control on the truck hit the wall of Chandragiri bridge and overtuned. Due to the impact driver drowned to death.

On noticing the locals immediately informed the police as well as the fire pesonnel. Nazeer’s body was retrieved from the river later. Kasargod police have registered the case
