Driver of private bus hits shop

Udupi: The driver of a private bus operating between Belman and Udupi lost control and stopped the bus after hitting a shop in Shirva Bus stand on Saturday. The bus was on its way to Udupi from Belman, while the bus was entering the Shirva bus stand, the driver while driving on reverse gear lost control over the bus.

The alert public and students waiting for the bus ran for safety, while the bus stopped after hitting a petty Shop. Luckily the shop owner Keshav Pai escaped with minor injuries.

Shirva Police visited the spot for investigation.
