Drug peddler arrested at Talapady toll gate

Mangaluru: CCB Police have arrested a person who was trying to sell ganja in the city after smuggling it from Kerala. The arrested person is Keshav Sanil, a resident of Krishnapur 5th Block.

Acting on a tip off, the police arrested him near the Talapady toll gate in Ullal Police Station limits. Ganja weighing 1.832 kg, a mobile phone and a Hyundai Eon Car has been seized from him. The value of the seized goods is estimated at Rs 2.85 lakhs.

The accused has been handed over to Ullal Police Station.
