Economist, Author and Researcher Dr.G.V. Joshi Joins Alva;s MBA as Professor

Mangaluru: Dr G. V. Joshi, economist and former member of the Karnataka State Planning Board is appointed as Professor in the Department of MBA, Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Moodbidri. This is informed in a Press release of the department.

Dr Joshi held many important positions in Mangalore University where he worked for a long period of 26 years. Under his leadership, Corporation Bank Chair in the University established itself at the national level.

He worked as Professor in Justice K. S. Hegde Institute of Management, Nitte. He served as Visiting Professor in Makerere University B- School, Uganda for three years. Dr Joshi has the credit of carrying out research on SKDRDP, Dharmasthala.

Dr Joshi’s articles numbering more than hundred have appeared in the leading Kannada Dailies, the Press Release added.
