Brahmavar: Zeal 2 K 17, the cultural fest organized by final year B.A students of Crossland College Brahmavar was inaugurated by elderly persons from Karunalaya old age home, BrahmavarMr.Antony,Mr.Giriya,Mr.Prabhakar and Mr.Mani.
Mr. Antony said “this is the first time in our life that we are getting an opportunity like this to be honoured and more over it’s a special day for all of us. The teachers and students of the college took care of us, made us to sit on the stage, allowed us to watch the programmes, all were there to take care of us and presented us saplings too.
Thank you crossland family for your hospitality We will plant the sapling in our place and remember you always. ” The inter class fest is organized, to give opportunity to the students of the college to participate in innovative competitions. Another special feature of the competition was awarding of medicinal plants to the winners.
The Principal of the college appreciated the students for caring and honoring the elderly and creating an awareness about the medicinal plants.” I feel a lot happy that our students are having good moral values in their life.
Hats off to the teachers for instilling those values in them. I feel thrilled that the students have learned to share the sufferings of others. We want our students to do two things, the first is to learn to love others and the second one is to share the sufferings of others.”, the Principal said while addressing the students during the prize distribution function.Mr.Prasanth Kulal and Ms. Krishna A.V compered the programme.
Prof.Elizabeth Roy,HoD of Management Science and Prof.Reebu Samuel,HoD of Social Science Coordinated the fest. The teachers arranged a food fest outside the auditorium to raise funds for the poor students’ scholarship fund.
