Episcopal City Deanery holds Taize prayer at Rosario Church

Mangaluru: Episcopal City Deanery conducted a Taize prayer at Rosario Church hall on December 12 at 6.15 pm. Episcopal City Deanery president Leon Loyd Saldanha welcomed the gathered for the prayerful session.

ICYM director of Episcopal City Deanery Fr Anil Roshan Lobo explained the Taize prayer and extended a warm welcome to the youth for the prayer which is to be conducted on December 13 and 14 as part of NYC Cross journey.

Taize prayer was conducetd by Norbert Misquith which included meditation, silence, Word of God, enchanting of prayers and Bible verses.

Fr J B Crasta - vicar forane, Episcopal City Deanery, Fr Paul - assistant parish priest, Rosario Church and many youth, elders and sisters of Episcopal City Deanery participated and had an enchanting experience with Jesus.The ECD choir helped to enhance the beauty of prayer with melodius bhajans and meditational verses from the Bible. A one hour prayerful session amidst the lit lamps gave a wonderful experience for the youth with Jesus.
