Erica C Veigas of Carmel College Modankap qualifies for fifth round seva project

Bantwal: Carmel College Modankap organized a one day Shramadan by constructing 'Drainage for Rain Water' for the gram panchyat office building at Madange Kallige here.

It was a seva project under ‘Divyas Best Student 2018 of Integral Yoga Sathsangha Mangaluru.

Erica C Veigas III BCA student of Carmel College was the organiser of this seva project assisted by a group of students and local people. It was inaugurated by Rathna president, Purusha Salian vice president, Shivlal Chauhan PDO, Oswarld Goveas building contractor, Prof Sr M Supriya AC principal, Mukthashri lecturer in Kannada, Veena M lecturer in Political Science were present.

Erica completed four rounds of the Divyas Best Student Competition and has qualified for the fifth round - seva project. This project gives an opportunity to the student to prove her planning, organizing, communicating and leadership skills and to develop a sense of social concern and service to humanity.
