Esha Vittaldas Swamiji, Fr John Fernandes conferred ‘Sadhbavana Samman’

Mangaluru: The national campaign ‘Peace and Humanity’ conferred ‘Sadhbavana Samman’ awards on Shri Esha Vittaldas Swamiji of Kemaru Sandeepani Math and Fr John Fernandes, former head of Christianity Chair at Mangalore University.

The awards were conferred at town hall here on Friday October 7. Dr CP Habeeb Rehaman President of Unity Academy of Education along with other dignitaries and representatives of 'Peace and Humanity' honoured Swamiji and Fr Fernandes.

Speaking on this occasion Swamiji said, “The organizers should extend their hands in helping the economically poor widows and provide them medical aid. Serving the humanity is equal to serving God. We should work towards saving the nature which is precious,”.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Dr Jonh Fernandes said, “It is our duty and responsibility to serve the society without expecting the honour. Everyone should join the hands for the noble cause of peace and humanity.”
