Mangaluru: Expert Pre University College celebrated Vanamahotsava on campus, on Sunday, July 23.
Anil Rao, retired officer of Mangaluru's Corporation Bank explained the importance of planting saplings.
Mangaluru's organic farmer, president of Grahaka Balaga Addooru Krishna Rao explained about seed ball farming and cultivation of fodder. He distributed nearly two thousand seed balls to the college on behalf of the Balaga.
Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman, Expert Group of Institutions, Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice-chairperson, Ankush N Nayak, AICE faculty and alumnus, and Dr N K Vijayan, principal, Expert PU College, Valachil were present on occasion.
More than a hundred saplings were planted in the campus.
