Five Star friends, Udyavar organized a tribute meeting for soldiers who were killed in Uri terrorist attack

Udupi: Five star friends, Udyavar organized a tribute meeting at Udyavar panchayat ground on Saturday, for brave Indian army who were killed in militant attack in Uri area of Baramulla district on Sunday morning, It was held with the collaboration of St Francis Xavier Cricketers, Udyavar.

 

Gathering guests, public and school children offered flowers and holding candles to mark the tribute for brave Indian soldiers.

JC Rajendra Bhat, National trainer JCI India, while delivering his key note address said, ‘two countries of the people want peace. In these days, violence activities are increasing. I think, the less number of people knew about the meaning of true patriotism. Soldiers will not bother environmental imbalances. Moreover, he lives away from his family, only for protecting our nation’.

He added, ‘during the term of Indira Gandhi, was Prime Minister, the Indian army attacked Pakistan, but that time period public have given credit to Prime minister. Now the same thing is happening today, public are appreciating Modi instead of encouraging soldiers’.

The real patriotism is when a mother sends her son to army for protecting our nation that is the patriotism.

Mahendra Sharma, Principal of Government PU College, Udyavar. Ansar Ahmad, President Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Udupi district , Riyaz Palli, Vice President Grama Panchayat Udyavar, Geethanjali Suvarna, Jilla panchayat member, Nityanand Olakadu, Presented by the secretary of the district committee, spoke on the occasion.
Shailesh, a retired army was felicitated at the programme.

RJ Errol, 92.7 FM introduced the profile all 18 martyrs on the tribute meet. RP Monis, president, Sauharda committee Udyavar was present.
