Four students arrested on allegation of consuming ganja

Mangaluru: Personnel of Kavoor police station arrested four students on the allegation of consuming ganja. The students have been accused of consuming ganja in a public place near Bondel. The arrested youngsters have been identified as Karthik (18) from KHB Colony, Bondel, Alister Taru alias Austin (18) and Estel Tauro (19) from Florina Compound Bondel, and Deekshith (18), resident of PWD Quaters, Bondel.

When the police personnel were on patrol duty, they found the young men in a state of intoxication on account of drugs consumption. When they were questioned, the students confessed to having consumed drugs.

Medical tests conducted on them too confirmed this fact. A case about ganja consumption stands registered in Kavoor police station against the four students.
