Fuddar Prathisttan holds skill development programme for students

Mangaluru: Fuddar Prathisttan (R) organised its annual Prasthisttan Puraskar programme for PUC and undergraduate students from various streams, at Bishop’s House Mangaluru, on Sunday June 4.

The programme comprised advice on skill development, career opportunities and availability of scholarships.

The programme was inaugurated by Fuddar Prathisttan president John D’Silva. Ronald Mendonca, prinicpal consultant and career coach, smart solutions spoke about various skills required to excel.

Severin Rosario and Vijay Moras, center for advanced learing (CFAL) addressed on various opportunities in Engineering and Pure Science fields.

Professor Cecilia Goveas Department of Economics, School of Social work, Roshani Nilaya, addressed on various scholarships and loan facilities available.

Professor Santhosh Rebello, faculty of PG Computer Science, St Aloysius College compered the progrramme. Fuddar Prathisttan Secretary L J Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme was a follow up action after the felicitation of high achieving students, on March 19. This year, 38 SSLC students, 62 PUC students, 67 graduates and post graduates were honoured for their outstanding performance in academics.
