Kasargod: A gas laden tanker overturned on National highway near Chervathur on Monday evening, October 10. The tanker plying from Mangaluru to Kannur lost control of the driver and turned turtle.
Fire brigade and police rushed to the spot and took precautionary measures to avoid any gas leakage.
The traffic was snarled due to the accident. Later the gas was transferred to another tanker. Luclily there was no casualties. Local complained that gas laden drivers drive at high speed, which are causing these incidents.
