Grandparents’ Day celebration in St Aloysius Gonzaga School

Mangaluru: A special day was dedicated to grandparents in St Aloysius Gonzaga Kindergarten.

The memorable day began by seeking God’s blessings. Vrinda and Ganesh Kini, proud grandparents of Mayuk of K- II, were the chief guests of the day whose message conveyed the love and warmth shared between the grandparents and their doted grandchildren.

Fr Melwin Mendonca, manager of the school and principal Grace Noronha were the other dignitaries of the day. Shanvi of K - 2 welcomed the gathering. Entertainment programme was put up by the students of Kindergarten and class I. Grandparents were overwhelmed by the performance of their grand children. Various games were organised by Agnes Saldanha, PE Teacher and prizes were awarded to the winners. The programme was compered by Mohammed Aahil and Joanne Elizabeth of K- II.

The vote of thanks was rendered by Joshua Coelho of K - 2. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
