Guest Lecture on ‘Bridging the Industry-Academia Gap’ held at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: The Department of Computer Science and Pinnacle IT Club of St Philomena College Puttur organized Guest Lecture on ‘Bridging the Industry-Academia Gap’ on August 6, 2016 in Spandana seminar hall.

 

Dr Paul Rodrigues, Professor, Department of Computer Engineering, King Khalid University, Abha, Saudi Arabia was the resource person. In his presentation he said, ‘We have to learn lessons by failures and not by success. The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.’

The Vice-Principal Prof. Vishnu Bhat S presided over the programme. The HOD of the Department Mr. Vinayachandra and Convener of Pinnacle IT Club Mrs. Rajeshwari M were present on this occasion.

Ms. Ranjitha and team with their prayer song invoked God to shower his choicest blessings. Ms. Bhoomika welcomed the gathering. Mr. Mohammad Aboobakar Sharkavi proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Ashika E A compered the programme.
