Gurukul Public School students hand over Rs 56,790 to Kodagu compensation fund

Udupi: Thousands of people lost their houses and valuables in the natural calamities in August this year and were found on the streets. Thousands in Kodagu and Kerala are made to struggle for their basic needs everyday as a result of the recent floods. Many groups and organizations extended a helping hand.

Gurukul students and teachers too collected of their free will Rs 56,790 and handed it over to principal Arvind V Marali.

The DD was handed over to T Bhoobalan, assistant commissioner, Kundapur in the presence of selected tenth standard students.

The students of the school later obtained guidance from Bhoobalan for securing good marks in the examinations and developing leadership qualities.

Principal Arvind V Marali was present.
