Gurukula institutions inaugurate school cabinet

Udupi: Leadership quality is very essential for the overall progress of students, said Dr N P Narayana Shetty, principal of Bhandarkars College Kundapura.

Addressing the students during the investiture ceremony of the school cabinet of Gurukula institutions, Dr Narayana said, "Students must develop leadership qualities to attain success in their work as well in their personal life. A strong leader can build a strong nation," he said. He also advised student cabinet ministers on how to develop leadership qualities on the occasion.

He also handed over certificates and badges to the student cabinet ministers.

Management Trustee Bandya Subhashchandra Shetty presided over the ceremony and gave guidance about responsibilities to the students.

School principal Arvind V Murali called upon students to develop positive social behaviors and values other than excelling in curricular activities.

Chandan Nayak and Suhas Shetty were elected as student representatives for the year 2018-19. Remaining 24 representatives too took oath on the occasion.

Management Trustees Bandya Subhashchandra Shetty and Anupama S Shetty were present.

Nidhi and Praniga compered the ceremony.
