Sullia: JD(S) leader H D Revanna has denied reports of a rift in the JD(S) family and said that the party would fight the next assembly elections under the leadership of Deve Gowda and State Chief Kumaraswamy. He also made it clear that JD(S) would field its candidates in all the 224 constituencies. He was speaking to media on his visit to Kukke Sri Subrahmanya shrine. He offered prayers to the Lord.

"The party has already begun to mobilise support and strengthen its organisation at booth level. The selection of candidates would be done by the Core Committee comprising of senior leaders. I am sure JD(S) will do well in assembly elections," he said.

Revanna offered Ashlesha Bali Seva at the shrine. He was accompanied by his wife Bhavani and son Prajwal. JD(S) has been in news recently when Prajwal Ravanna, son of Revanna had accused party being partial towards those to who give money. He later said that he did not mean so.
