Mangaluru: BJP member Harikrishna Bantwal held a press meet on Tuesday, December 12 and called ‘Walk for harmony’ as flop show.

“As only 500 people were seen participating in the walk, it is completely a flop show. Many Muslim outfits have stayed away from this walk. Before the walk, Rai begged with many organizations for support. Only left organizations supported him because they and Rai have same mentality. Rai is the main reason for disturbances in communal harmony in the district. He wants to use this platform for politics. Unfortunately for him, he has failed badly, a speople came to know his intention,” he said.

“He is not commenting or taking any action regarding illegal cow transport and slaughtering. We are expecting few words about this in today's walk. Rai is the inspiration for all communal killings of district. There is no chance for communal harmony in the district during his term. This rally has become embarrassment for Congress, which is ruling the state. Rai is the in-charge of district. but he is walking with the slogan of harmony. With this he is projecting that his government has failed to maintain peace and harmony," he added.
