Harikrishna Bantwal to lodge ACB complaint against Ramanath Rai

Mangaluru: Expelled Congressman Harikrishna Bantwal who is now with the BJP has stated that he would lodge a Lokayukta and ACB complaint against K District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai for allegedly grabbing government land at Kallige.

Harikrishna Bantwal, alleged that Rai had encroached 10 acres out of the 28 acres government land in Survey No. 97/1 in Kallige village of Bantwal taluk. "The Deputy Commissioner should investigate the case. I would lodge a complaint with the Lokayukta who would be visiting the district on November 17," he said.

On the clarification issued by Ramanatha Rai denying the land grab allegations, Harikrishna Bantwal said Rai has given as escaping reply, as expected.
