Mangaluru: In view of the heavy rains the district administrations of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts have declared holidays for schools and colleges today and tomorrow. (May 29 and 30).
Press communiques in this regard have been issued by Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil and Udupi Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis.
Heavy rains are lashing the city and various parts of the district since Tuesday morning. There has been water logging at several areas thereby causing a lot of inconvenience to pedestrians and motorists alike.
