Husband kills wife; arrested

Kasargod: In an unfortunate incident, a husband killed his wife after hitting her on the head at Kalichinadka on Friday morning, October 21, in Kasargod. The deceased is identified as Narayani (42). Police have arrested her husband Ambadi (58) for the murder.

Neighbours who rushed to the house after hearing loud cries of Narayani and the children came to know of the murder. As Narayani had serious injury to the head, she died on the spot.

Ambadi, who was trying to flee after the incident, was caught by the locals and handed over to the police. The police have taken him into custody.
