ICYM Bajjodi has organized ‘’vanamaothsava’’ programme

Mangaluru: ICYM Bajjodi has organized ‘’vanamaothsava’’ programme on 9th July at 8 am. Parish priest Fr. Shahabas Crast, Asst. parish priest Fr. Ivan D’Souza, Guest priest Fr. Ajith Rodrigues were present for the programme.

The programme commenced with invocation. Fr. Sahabas Crasta in his message highlighted the importance of the day and also stretched on how the prisoners can grow the plants in and around and make changes in the society.

ICYM members handed over the plant to Fr. Shahabas Crasta and one sampling was planted in the church garden. 100 plants of different varieties of medicinal and other plants were distributed. Around 60 prisoners were present for the programme. At the end ICYM president Ms. Jewel Fernandez proposed Vote of thanks.
