ICYM Cascia unit celebrates the feast of Assumption of Mother Mary and the 73rd Indian Independence Day

ICYM Cascia unit celebrated the feast of Assumption of Mother Mary and the 73rd Indian Independence Day with the parishioners. The celebration commenced with the Holy Eucharistic celebration by Rev. Fr Rupesh Madtha – Resident Priest, St. Rita Church Cascia concelebrated by Rev. Fr Charles. After the mass, Rev. Fr Harold Mascarenhas – Parish priest, St. Rita Church Cascia presided and unfurled the National flag along with Rev. Fr Rupesh Madtha, Rev. Fr Charles, Jossy Theodore – Vice president, Cascia parish pastoral council, Glen Tauro – President, Jovita Dsouza – Secretary, ICYM Cascia unit and the parishioners. Rev. Fr Harold Mascarenhas addressed the gathering on the occasion.

A short felicitation programme was held to Mr. Michael Monteiro, Mr .Eymard Noronha, Mr. Ronald Pereira - Former Defence personnel of Cascia parish at the church hall. Rev. Fr Harold Mascarenhas appreciated ICYM members for organizing the programme and thanked each one for their support and encouragement. Anil Rupesh Dsouza welcomed the guests and the gathering and delivered the vote of thanks. Kushi Dlima compered the programme.
