ICYM Kasargod, Kollangana units host Yuvasamavesh

Kasargod: Indian Catholic Youth Movement, deanery unit and Kollangana unit organised ‘Yuvasamavesh 2k17’.

Around 190 youths from 10 units were present for this event. The inaugural programme began with a prayer song lead by the Kollangana unit.

Fr Ronald D'Souza, director, ICYM Mangaluru dioecese, Elroy Saldanha, president, Joel Concesso, secretary, Leon, deanery representative, unit director , Sr Flavia, unit animator, Fr Victor D'Souza, director of Kasargod deanery, Sr Severine D’Cunha, Kasargod deanery animator, Jeevan D'Souza, president, and Alisha Fernandes, secretary, were guests of the day. Sr Severine D’Cunha, Sr Flavia and Carnelias Lobo were honored on the occasion.

The first session was held by resource person Norbert Misquith. Later the Eucharistic celebration was held for all youth. Tasty lunch was served in the afternoon. Later, to freshen up the youth, Viyon and team came up with different action songs.

Fr Victor D'Souza was president of the concluding ceremony. Alisha, deanery secretary compered the programme. Jeevan, deanery president, welcomed the gathering. Fr Victor evaluated the whole programme and delivered a speech. Jostal D'Souza deanery joint secretary thanked the gathering. The day ended with the DJ spinning Baila numbers.
